Another Snow Day! - Part 2

My Aunt Lori called this afternoon to see if Mommy and I wanted to play in the snow. I was so happy to see her!

Going down the hill is the fun part. Walking back up is hard work!

Lori threw snowballs at me . . .

. . . and I ran to hide behind Mommy. See how scared I am?

Since my cheeks were getting pink Mommy got me a scarf like Lori's! Ahhh . . . now I can play outside for the rest of the afternoon!

Well, maybe for 10 more minutes anyway. Happy snow day!

Another Snow Day!

HOORAY!

I think the trees look beautiful!

Green Bean Queen

I really like green beans - fresh out of the can at room temperature. I have recently discovered an innovative way to eat them.

First, give them a little pinch and open them up.

Next, take the bean part out.

See?

Then eat them up! YUM (leave the bean parts behind without eating them)!

Mommy is already worrying about the length of time I will have to eat lunch vs the time I will need to eat lunch when I go to Kindergarten. MOM- I'm THREE!

Skittles

Papa brought me a GIANT bag of Skittles. Thanks, Papa!

This is the way my breakfast, lunch, and supper conversations have gone for the last week.

Mommy: Allie, would you like yogurt or peanut butter bread for breakfast.
Allie: I want Skittles.

Mommy: Allie, would you like chicken nuggets with peas or green beans for lunch?
Allie: I want Skittles.

Mommy: Allie, would you like spirals, shells, ScoobyDoo, or SpongeBob macaroni and cheese for supper?
Allie: I want Skittles.

Christmas Pictures

. . . before February, as promised. You might notice that there are NO Christmas morning pictures. Silly Mommy didn't take any because Daddy was videotaping. Oh well . . . enjoy! First there are pictures at GrandPa's, then Mama Kaye's, then Mama Flo's.

Snow Fun!

Hooray for snow!

We tried sledding down the hill.

The snow was so powdery that Daddy just had to pull me on the sled! FUN!

Then I tried the saucer and Daddy tried the sled.

SNOW!!!

Daddy had more luck on the saucer than I did.

Then we tried building a snowman.

Here is our poor snowman. He is more of a snowpile. We had fun anyway!

Look at my swingset!

I'm not too happy about this.

Daddy told me to throw a snowball at Mommy!

Look at this! Bird footprints!

I loved playing in the snow!

Snow Day??? - UPDATED 10AM

This is what I woke up to . . .

Needless to say I was very disappointed. Mommy says the snow is coming. I hope so! I will update you on the situation as it unfolds :)

UPDATE! 10AM
Guess what? It is snowing.

I got to wear my snow boots!

I caught a snowflake on my tongue and it went into my belly (I've been talking about eating snow for weeks)!

Hehehe, there's snow on my slide!

And snow on my swings! OH HAPPY DAY!

Writing

After Preschool on Fridays, I love to visit Mommy's classroom. Mommy shares a classroom with Ms. Debbie - and I LOVE Ms. Debbie. She always has a snack and shares with me! I ate Ms. Debbie's apple and two of her cheese sticks on Friday!

YUM! Thanks Ms. Debbie!

After I ate for a while, I got up and started writing on Ms. Debbie's board. Can you tell what I am writing? By the way, when Mommy took this picture I was writing with a highlighter . . . oops! Sorry Ms. Debbie! Luckily, it came right off.

Here's another look . . .

And another . . .

Mommy and Ms. Debbie sat speechless while I wrote my numbers 1-10. This is NOT something I have been practicing with Mommy or Daddy or even by myself. I just decided I could and would write them on the board!

1, 2, 3, 4

(5 was written with the highlighter and didn't show up)
6 (got a little wiggly), 7, 8, 9(backwards), 10.

Mommy and Daddy are in trouble.
