Sparks!

Sorry I haven't posted any new pictures or videos for the last few days. The power cord to the laptop has a short and was shooting sparks!!! Daddy ordered a new power cord. It will be here soon. I will post new pictures and videos when it gets here! I have been busy playing with my friends at the Busy Baby Club at church. We have been having so much fun! I also have been playing with Mommy and Daddy. Daddy is finally getting some work done during the day now that Mommy is at home with me! Mommy is not going back to work this school year. I am so happy! I am the luckiest baby to have my Mommy AND my Daddy at home. Have a happy day . . . I will post pictures and videos soon, I promise!

OH DEER!

A deer was walking around in my backyard! Daddy decided to go out onto the deck and make a video of the deer. That deer kept getting closer and closer to Daddy! When the deer saw Daddy, it was really surprised! So was Daddy! Have you ever head a deer make such a sound? We never had!

1 Year Ago . . .

Where were you one year ago today? I was here - in Mommy's belly! Mommy's due date was 3 weeks away. Mommy and Daddy and I went to see Dr. Pam. She was about to go on vacation for a week. She wanted to hear my heartbeat and make sure Mommy was okay. Dr. Pam told Mommy my heartbeat sounded great and that she would be fine until Dr. Pam got back from vacation. Dr Pam didn't know I had other plans!!!! Mommy and Daddy's friend, Mitzi, came over to eat pizza and watch a movie. I decided to let Mommy and Daddy get one more good night's sleep. Then, the fun began!!

Introducing . . . .the Busy Babies Club

We are so excited! Today Mommy and I went to our first playgroup, the Busy Babies Club. The Club will meet every Tuesday and Thursday in the nursery at our church. I get to play with my friends, Audrey and Amelia! I had so much fun today that Daddy wants to go on Thursday.

Sweet Daddy

I love my Daddy! He had knee surgery (ACL) on Thursday. Mommy has been busy taking care of him, and Mama Kaye has been busy taking care of me! Aunt Cynthia came and spent Wednesday night and all day Thursday while Mommy, Daddy, and Mama Kaye were at the hospital. So, as you might guess, I am getting no attention at all (ha ha ha). Daddy is doing well. He went to physical therapy and did a good job yesterday. Today he walked down the hall without his crutches! I'm not to sure what to think about it all. I will be glad when he can play with me again!

YEA! I'm 11 months old today!

Into Everything!

This is my ladybug bag that I take on trips. Mommy puts my favorite toys in my ladybug bag so I can play in the car. She left some of my toys in my bag. I found it and started pulling my toys out. Then, I decided to crawl in myself!

I LOVE the Phone Book!!

I found a new toy . . . the phone book. Who knew it could be so much fun?! BE SURE to watch the video after my pictures to see what I did to get the phone book when Mommy and Daddy moved it!

Pop Goes the Weasel

While Mommy was loading the dishwasher, I was sitting in my bouncy seat. The song, "Pop Goes the Weasel" came on and Mommy started singing. I thought it was so funny when she said, "POP!" I laughed and laughed!

I went to visit my Great Grandparents and my cousins in Selmer. My cousins have lots of animals. I got to see a kitten and some chicks.

Oh, guess what . . . Daddy was acting silly Wednesday. He was dancing. When he stopped, he looked at me. I clapped my hands and said "Yayyyyyyy!"

It Went Bye-Bye

Okay . . . Mommy says you really have to use your imagination when you watch my new movie. First, I am showing you how I can (finally) sit up, on my bottom, by myself. Then I play with my rattle-rattle-rattle. Then comes the part where you have to use your imagination. Listen closely after I throw it. I tell Mommy, "It went bye-bye."

Napping

I like to nap in my highchair like my Mommy did when she was a baby! Maybe I didn't get all of my looks from my Daddy! What do you think?
