Memphis Fun

I had a great time with my Mama Kaye and my MiMi (formerly known as Aunt Simpy) last weekend in Memphis. Mommy only got her camera out for these highlights (I think she's getting lazy with the picture taking) . . .
I laughed and laughed at my blog videos with Mama Kaye. I asked her to play the same video about 20 times. We laughed every time!

We also went to Ripley to eat a yummy lunch and to visit Gaga in the hospital. The sun was so bright that I needed my stylish sunglasses. And I am totally obsessed with Elmo right now. I can't go anywhere without him!

After all of that fun, I could hardly keep my eyes open. Mommy says I was asleep before we left the parking lot!

Serious Musician

You know I love, love, love, Kindermusik. We have been playing new instruments each week. I really like to play this one! And guess what? I am on my way to Kindermusik right now!!!!

We celebrated Amelia's 2nd birthday at church with a bouncer.

Anniversary

Mommy, Daddy, and I went to Patti's (Mommy's favorite restaurant) to celebrate their wedding anniversary. Here are some pictures from our trip!

Bread, Ducks, and a Yellow

Yesterday Mommy let me walk all the way to the lake to see the ducks. I even got to carry the bread! When we were almost there, I decided to take a bite of the bread. Mommy usually tells me it's only for the ducks. But I went to the allergist this week and found out I am (supposedly) not allergic to soy anymore. So, Mommy let me eat a bite of bread. I thought it tasted wonderful.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

As soon as we got to the lake, the ducks saw us and started swimming our way. I started to CRY! I did NOT want to share my bread with those ducks.

In the middle of all this a "yellow" came by! I love to watch the "yellow" come by my window in the afternoon. I was so happy to see it up close!

Rain, Rain

(Mommy is behind on blogging!!)

The weekend before last, I went to the park with Amelia. The Mommies walk before we get to play. We were getting close to the playground when something unusual happened! The Mommies pushed us through the woods and under the pavilion instead of what we usually do - stay on the walking track and then go swing.

What is going on?

I don't know what that is!

Mommy told me it was RAIN! I haven't seen rain all summer!

The wind was blowing my hair!

No swinging today!

Nanny Jenny's Farm

We visited Amelia's Nanny Jenny's farm. Nanny Jenny grows CATFISH! Amelia and I fed the catfish. If you look closely you can see them!




Then we did some seroius rock hunting.

Laundry

When Mommy was a little girl she helped Mama Flo do the laundry.

Bells Are Ringing . . .

Off to Kindermusik we go!


In my new Kindermusik class we get to play bells! I love this part of class!





Miss Elaine asks us to think of different ways to play the bells. I like to play them with my feet!


There is a song that we sing while we play the bells. It has lots of verses that tell us how to play the bells. My favorite verse is "Bells are resting, Listen to them resting . . . " You can watch!
