MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Christmas Time - Round 1

I am such a lucky girl to have so many family members who love me! Today I visited my GrandPa in Ripley. My Munner (great-grandmother), Great Aunts Joan, Barbara, and Nancy, Great Uncle Butch, and my cousin Austin came to visit me. They gave me boxes wrapped in pretty paper and gift bags with tissue paper. I was so excited! But I couldn't figure out why they wanted me to tear off that pretty paper. WELL . . . Guess What???? Inside the pretty boxes and bags were toys and clothes! Just for me! I told you I'm a lucky girl! I love you guys! More celebrations to come . . .
I am looking forward to going to church tomorrow and wearing the Christmas dress that my cousin Emily smocked. It is so pretty. Then on Christmas Eve we will go to the candlelight service at church to celebrate Jesus' birthday. Then we will go to YaYa's and PePaw's for more celebrating. Then a few days to rest and we are off to Mama Kaye's and then on to Great Grandmother Flo's. I am so looking forward to seeing all of my family. I can't wait!

Chuck E. Cheese

Kitchen

Mama Kaye let me borrow my cousins' kitchen. It has been in her attic for a loooooong time. My cousins, Kalli and Nicki, are big girls now, so they don't mind me playing with it. I am so glad Mama Kaye let me use it. I love to open and close and open and close the doors. I put my cup in and take it out, and put it in and take it out, over and over. The kitchen has storage shelves on the side that are a perfect place for me to put my snack!

Special Time of Year!

Mommy and I had a fun evening! First we went to her school for "Reading with Santa." The school was decorated with lots and lots of Christmas trees. There was even a Christmas train. I loved watching it! After we sang some carols, Santa read "The Night Before Christmas," and then we left. Next we went to the "Living Nativity" at New Harmony Baptist Church and remembered the REAL reason we celebrate Christmas. We enjoyed it so much that we went through twice!

Sleeping

I love to sleep with my Mommy and Daddy. Daddy took this picture of me and Mommy while we were at Mama Kaye's house. It might look like Mommy is hogging the covers, but she's not. I don't like covers. I kick them off and would rather sleep on top of them. It might look like I am hogging the bed, AND I AM!!!!

My New Dress

Rooster

Daddy has been calling me "Rooster" all day. I don't know why!! Any ideas?

This Little Piggy . . .

This weekend I went to visit my Great Grandmother Flo and my Great Grandfather Loren. Mama Flo and I played such a fun game! We played "This Little Piggy."

After Mama Flo played with me, I played "This Little Piggy" with the baby doll!

ANNOUNCEMENT

LADIEEEEEEEEES and GENTLEMENNNNNNNNNNN . . . it's been 16 months in the making . . . we have a walker!!!!!!

Happy Halloween!

Orange Beach

We had a great time on vacation! We stopped in Tuscaloosa for a ballgame before heading to the ocean. It rained most of the time we were in Orange Beach, and it was chilly! The water was too cold for a swim. But Mommy and Daddy and Aunt Cynthia took me to see it up close! Mommy wanted me to wear my white summer dress so she could take some pretty beach pictures. Even though the weather was yucky we had fun. We went shopping and ate good food and Aunt Cynthia played and played and played with me.

Alabama

Mommy said she is sorry that she has been too busy to help me blog lately! I made her stop what she was doing today to help me!! Last weekend was Mommy's and Daddy's 10-year wedding anniversary. We went to Alabama - where else :) - to celebrate. We had a great time at the pep rally and bonfire. When we got home, Mommy had to go to Nashville for a conference for work for a few days. I had fun playing with Daddy and Mama Kaye. Next weekend we are going back to Alabama. We are going to Orange Beach. Mommy tells me I will love the beach. I can't wait to tell you all about it!

Yogurt

Yogurt is my most favorite food - besides raisins and bananas. Mommy feeds me yogurt almost every day. As soon as she takes it out of the refrigerator, that baby on the package waves at me. Of course I always say "Hi" and wave back. I talk to the baby on the package the whole time I eat my yogurt. I am so sad when the yogurt is gone. When Mommy tells me it's all gone I just have to check for myself. She's always right!

The Mitten

Mommy's friend, Ms. Cassie, sent me some hand-me-downs. I got shoes, clothes, and MITTENS!!!!! I LOVE my new mittens. They are fuzzy and black and they make me smile! Oh, and they help me stand up and walk too! Be sure to watch the video after my pictures!

15 Months

Sooooo . . . I am still not sitting still for my monthly pictures! I don't have time to sit still! I went to the doctor today for my 15-month checkup. I weigh 22.3 pounds (40th percentile) and I am 29 inches tall (10th percentile). I am still not walking. I think I could if I wanted to . . . I just don't want to! I have been having fun lately reading books, chasing Peaches, and playing at the park. Mommy decided to go back to work part time. She is now a Reading Specialist at Harrelson School in Puryear. She works every day from 10:45 - 2:15. I don't mind. I get to play with Daddy. He feeds me lunch, plays with me, and gives me a nap. When I wake up, we play a little longer, and then Mommy is home. I am such a lucky girl to have Mommy and Daddy time!
