Goodbye Birthday Balloons

I'm not a fan of balloons. I really am scared of them, but Mommy said birthday parties have to have balloons. Mommy meant to give the balloons away to my friends as they left my party, but she forgot. She did remember the party favor bags though!
This is as close as you are going to get me to a balloon.

We decided to let the balloons float away. I let Nana and Daddy hold onto them and let them go.
WOW!
There they go!
Bye balloons!

Toy Story 3 Birthday

All of my pals came to watch Toy Story 3 and eat cake with me on my birthday!

I got a swipe of the icing before Mommy got my piece cut . . . I just couldn't wait!
Sweet friends!

My friends brought presents!

Can you believe I'm 4?

A "Fancy" Birthday

One of my most favorite characters is Fancy Nancy. Mimi and Mama Kaye planned for me to go to Fancy Nancy's Tea Party to celebrate my birthday!
First things first . . . I had to get fancy. Look at all of my fancy swag!
I picked the Bonjour Butterfly ensemble!

I caught a glimpse of myself in Mimi's mirror.

PERFECT!
Aren't we fancy?!
Off we go to the Tea Room!

And then I saw her . . . FANCY NANCY herself!!!!
After the excitement of meeting Fancy Nancy, I drank some fancy tea.
I also ate some Cheetos fancily - please notice my pinkie. Fancy Nancy would be so proud.
After lunch I was so surprised that Fancy Nancy and all of the fancy ladies and girls at the tea party sang Happy Birthday to me. They even brought me cake and ice cream!
Thank you Mimi and Mama Kaye for making my birthday Fancy!

Ducks

We have hardly had any time to visit the ducks this spring. When we walked down to the lake yesterday, I was thrilled to see this!

YEA for baby ducks!

Mama Flo's

I got to spend some time at my Mama Flo's (my great-grandmother) house this past week. I had a wonderful time. We went to visit my cousins who live on a farm. Their blueberries and blackberries are beginning to ripen and they let me pick some!

This is Rebekah. She stayed at Mama Flo's with me one night. We played and played and played!
I ate the berries straight off of the bush. I wish we had a blueberry bush at my house!
YUM!

Here are the blackberries. I liked them too, but not as well as the blueberries.
Rebekah showed me how to pick the berries that were ripe.

While I was at Mama Flo's, I also made chocolate chip cookies for my Papa.

We found this turtle who we decided was very smart. He only poked his head out of his shell a tiny bit the whole time I was playing outside! As soon as I got close to him he hid!
I had lots of fun at Mama Flo's and I am looking forward to going back!

Chuck E. Cheese Birthday Celebration

My birthday is coming up, June "twenty-seconds," you know. Amelia is going to be on vacation on my birthday, so she and her Mommy treated me to Chuck E. Cheese to celebrate my birthday! Wow! Wasn't that nice? Ms. Sharon got us these cute princess cups!

This was my favorite game . . . SpongeBob Bowling.

Concentrate . . .

I played this game lots of times! Look at all of my tickets!

I also enjoyed watching Amelia play this game (and dancing).

After we went to Chuck E. Cheese, we ran some errands and then Ms. Sharon got us ice cream!

Thanks, Amelia and Ms. Sharon for such a fun day!

Another Funny

During the first few minutes that I was visiting the beach, I was a little nervous about the waves. I held Mommy and Daddy's hands very tightly as the waves got my feet wet.
Mommy let go of my hand and bent down to get a picture of my "sweet feet."
Since I couldn't hold onto her hand, I grabbed a fist-full of her hair. I wish this picture showed how tightly I had my Mommy by the hair. We laughed and laughed. Thanks to Mama Kaye for snapping this picture!
