Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

Today I got to have breakfast with the Easter Bunny! My best friend, Amelia was there too. We had a great time!

Ready for an egg hunt!

My friend, Caitlyn asked if she could come help me hunt eggs. Of course, I said, "SURE!"

This year the preschool aged children got their very own spot to hunt eggs - in the playground area! Look at all of those eggs!

Caitlyn is giving me some egg hunting tips.

Ready, set, go!

There's one!

Wow! Look at my basket! It's full!

Egg hunt #2 - this time I went with Amelia.

Sweet Friends!

We checked out our loot before we left! I might have enough candy to last until my next egg hunt (it's Tuesday).

My Nana went too! We had so much fun!

March Birthdays

March is a popular birthday month in my family. Mama Kaye celebrates a birthday in March. Today is Mimi's birthday, and yesterday was Lori's birthday. Happy Birthday!

I went to Nana's house yesterday to celebrate Lori's birthday. Nana made Lori's favorite - Banana Split Cake. It has a Double Stuff Oreo cookie crust, a layer of sliced bananas, a layer of vanilla ice cream, a layer of strawberry ice cream, and Cool Whip on top. Yummy!

Lori was so sweet to let me help her blow out her candles.

Happy Birthday!

"Old Lady Golfing" With Papa

On Sunday afternoons, sometimes I go visit my Papa at work. He always takes time to play with me and we have so much fun! Last week, he took me to see a bird nest. Sometimes he spins me around and around in his chair. He plays hide-and-seek, and my favorite, the tickle-chase game. Papa has a cup full of bouncy balls on his desk that I always dump out on the floor and play with. This week I found some golf tees while I was chasing bouncy balls around his office. Papa and I played a new game today!
First, you have to put a bouncy ball on the golf tee.

Here's a closer look (if you were wondering, yes, my Papa uses a SpongeBob pencil :) )

Then, you knock the bouncy ball, or "old lady" as I called it today, off. Then you chase the bouncy ball around the floor yelling, "Come back here, you old lady." Then, you do it again!

You can also use your fist or a poster tube to knock the "old lady" off the tee.

It was a fun game that I am sure I will play again and again with my Papa!

Happy Patrick's Day

Last night, mommy and I were lying in bed about to go to sleep. This was our conversation . . .
Me: Mommy what we gonna do tomorrow?
Mommy: Tomorrow is Wednesday, you get to go to Miss Tina's.
Me: What is sumpin else?
Mommy: Tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day. You get to wear green on St. Patrick's Day.
Me: Mommy, Patrick is pink.

I got up today, put on my green and went to Miss Tina's. I gave Miss Tina a big hug and exclaimed, "Today is Patrick's Day!"
I still don't understand why we wear green and not pink.

Happy Birthday, Emily

My friend, Emily had her birthday party at McDonald's. I am standing beside Katie Beth, and next to her is Emily. These friends are in Kindermusik with me.

Here is Emily and her Mommy. We were singing Happy Birthday to Emily!

Mmmmm! Cake!

Time for presents . . . think they will notice if I open this one just a little?

Or a lot? A BABY! Emily's Mommy said to Emily, "This is from your Mimi and Papa." And I gasped and said, "MY Papa?" No . . . Emily has a Papa too.

My buddies, Kaitlin and Macey.

A Day at the Park

Amelia and I went to the park! We are too big for the baby swings this year!

I spy a squirrel in the tree!

One . . .two . . . three! GO!

We took a walk at the park and found these great walking sticks.

I'm so glad spring is on its way - Mommy is too!

Jeremy and Tamsyn's Wedding

We went to Chattanooga for Mommy's cousin's wedding. Jeremy and Tamsyn got married at on the Southern Belle Riverboat.

Jeremy and Tamsyn's flower girl, Katie, and I were fast friends! When I walked down the aisle holding Katie's hand, Tamsyn decided she wanted me to be in the wedding too. Mommy and I decided we had time to find a dress before the wedding.

You see, this is important and special to my Mommy because she was in Jeremy's mommy's and daddy's wedding (Aunt Judy and Uncle Phil) 28 years ago.

Here are Jeremy, Tamsyn, and Uncle Phil at the rehearsal dinner. Sticky Fingers is the name of the restaurant. When Mommy told me this is where we were going, I said "YUCK! I don't want sticky fingers! Sticky Fingers are yucky!"

Katie, Jeremy, and me!

Here is the dress we found. Tamsyn said it was perfect! Isn't she beautiful?

Nana thinks it's perfect too.

Here we are!

This is Newman, the ring bearer. He liked my dress too.

This is Allie, Aunt Judy's sister Lori's daughter. I loved playing with her.
