Rain, Rain

(Mommy is behind on blogging!!)
The weekend before last, I went to the park with Amelia. The Mommies walk before we get to play. We were getting close to the playground when something unusual happened! The Mommies pushed us through the woods and under the pavilion instead of what we usually do - stay on the walking track and then go swing.
What is going on?

I don't know what that is!

Mommy told me it was RAIN! I haven't seen rain all summer!

The wind was blowing my hair!

No swinging today!

Then we did some seroius rock hunting.

Bells Are Ringing . . .

Off to Kindermusik we go!

In my new Kindermusik class we get to play bells! I love this part of class!

Miss Elaine asks us to think of different ways to play the bells. I like to play them with my feet!

There is a song that we sing while we play the bells. It has lots of verses that tell us how to play the bells. My favorite verse is "Bells are resting, Listen to them resting . . . " You can watch!

Great Job!

Cousin Kalli earns the gold star!

Thanks for playing! I love you!

NOW . . . . for the answer. Look closely at the left side of the can of fruit cocktail. You will barely see a pineapple. This is just the view of the can I had from Mommy's shopping cart - except I was down low and the fruit was eye-level with Mommy.
If you know me at all, you know SpongeBob is my favorite TV star. You can watch his theme song below if you don't know it already.

Now everyone sing . . . Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? SpongeBob SquarePants . . .
I saw the pineapple peeking out from the side of the fruit cocktail label and told Mommy "Bob!" because SpongeBob lives in a pineapple. Mommy thinks I'm pretty clever! Ha!

Fruit Cocktail = Bob

Anyone who can guess why I pointed to this can and said "Bob!" at the grocery store earns a gold star. Leave your guesses below by clicking on "comments". I'll tell you the answer soon!

Sesame Street Live!

After my fun weekend in Selmer, Mommy took me to see Elmo. My friends, Amelia and Braden, went too . . . so did Nana, Aunt Lori, and Miss Sharon. By the way, Cousin Emily made my dress.

Mommy and I are waiting patiently for the show to start!

I decided to dance to pass the time!

LOOK! THERE THEY ARE!

ELMO!!!!

Wow, I'm not sure what to think of all of this!

YEA!!!!!!

"more"

After all of that excitement, Amelia and I decided to take a quick nap at August Moon before the Mommies ate Chinese.

Ha ha, just kidding!

Selmer Fun

Daddy went to the ballgame this weekend (Roll Tide) and Mommy, Nana and I went to Selmer. We did lots of fun things! We went to my cousins' farm and I got to hold a kitten! I was sooooo excited! My cousins, Rebekah and David, took me to see their ducks. Emily took me to see Stuart, the dog. Then, my cousins gave me a watermelon from their garden! YUMMY!

We also visited the house that Mama Flo grew up in - my great-great-grandfather's house. It is right down the road from the house she lives in now. Mama Flo is so excited to be fixing up her Mama and Daddy's house. It is going to be so cute! Don't you love the view from the porch?

When I got up Saturday morning, mommy looked out the bedroom window to see this . . . we ran downstairs to tell Mama Flo and Daddy Loren, but they were already at the sliding glass door watching!
