Santa's Village

Today we visited Santa's Village. Here is the view from above.

Wow!

In case you can't read this sign, it says "13 Days Until Christmas."

The man of the hour! Santa! I told him what I want - a tiny baby elephant (a real one) and a sucker.

Then I rode the carousel with my friend, Garrett.

And the pink elephant with Mommy. I was a little afraid at first, but when it was over, I said "Again, please."

We also went down the Alpine Slide. This was FUN!

Mommy and I sat in the giant chair by the giant Christmas tree.

Then I sat with my friends, Garrett, Morgan, and Olivia Grace.

Cheese with Olivia Grace!

This Frosty asked my name and told me he liked my bow!

The balloon lady made me a blue bunny!

I had so much fun visiting Santa's Village!

Marshmallows

(Mommy apoligizes for the quality of this picture - she took it with her her phone, but you get the idea.)

Guess what I get to eat at my (great-grandmother) Mama Flo's for breakfast?

Anything I want! I love you, Mama Flo!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I am so thankful for my family and my friends. Love to all of you!
Cousin Sarah took this picture of me. She is a wonderful photographer! She and Anna and Deborah have a photography business, Heritage Photography. If you need pictures made and are in the Stantonville TN area, you should make an appointment. They are great - and I'm not just saying that because they are "cousins!"

Thanksgiving Story Hour

Align CenterAt preschool on Friday, we had story hour. Mommy got to come to my class to make a Thanksgiving craft, have a snack, sing some Thanksgiving songs, and hear a Thanksgiving story. My craft was also my snack. I made a turkey! Here I am sneaking a lick of icing. I just couldn't wait! PLEASE note my cute turkey shirt. My Mama Kaye made it and sent it to me in the mail!

Here is my finished turkey.

YUM!

Here is Ms. Gay, my preschool teacher. I really love her! I got to play the drum during a turkey song.

Story hour was lots of fun!

My First Face Drawing

It's of my Papa. See his mustache?

Mommy had to take a picture of it to keep forever since I drew it on Mama Flo's tablecloth. If you are wondering - my markers are washable AND she told me it would be okay to draw on her tablecloth.

Yeh-yo (yellow) Submarine

I love the Beatles. My favorite song is Yellow Submarine. You can listen to it exactly 5 times between my house and preschool. But lately, Mommy has been "forgetting" to put the CD in the car. I reminded her on the way to music class on Tuesday. I only listened to it twice on the way to music. I'm glad it's in the car again so I can listen and sing all the way to preschool on Friday! I know Mommy is so happy too!

Dear Santa

(Or Mama Kaye, or Nana, or MiMi, or Aunt Lori)
Please, please, please put these on my Christmas list.
Love,
Allie
P.S. I wear a 7 right now, so maybe a 7 1/2 or an 8 so I can wear them for a while?

Boo at the Zoo

We went to St. Louis for Fall Break. While we were there, we went to Boo at the Zoo! I got to wear my Cinderella costume! The first thing we did was take a night hike. We saw lots of animals.

Like these sea lions . . .

. . . and this lion and tiger.

My favorite part of the night hike was the Herpetarium. There were lots of sneaky snakes, turtles and fish.

I got to pet this guinea pig.

My favorite part of the night was riding the carousel. We bought our tickets and entered the gate. I was very disappointed that the zebra was taken. Mommy and Daddy asked if we could wait until the next ride so I could ride the zebra.

The gatekeeper said yes! I rode the zebra and Daddy rode the tiger!

I didn't let Mommy ride. I wanted her to stand beside me!

Wheee!

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! I am Cinderella and I am going Trick-or-Treating!

I wore my fancy Cinderella slippers (Mommy carried my tennis shoes just in case).

Guess what? Just down the hill I asked for my tennis shoes! Slippers are tough to Trick-or-Treat in! I know just how Cinderella felt when she lost hers! I lost mine about 12 times just walking down the hill.

NOW! I am READY for this Trick-or-Treat business Mommy has been telling me about! I was so surprised at our first stop. I rang the doorbell and Mr. Lovett came and opened his front door. I said "Trick or Treat!" and guess what he did?? He put candy in my basket! This is Trick-or-Treating?! WOW! (I did look at Mommy and gasp and say "He put candy in my basket!" She just laughed!)

These are my jack-o-lanterns. I asked Mommy for a kitty cat and a puppy dog . . . and here they are!

There are no pictures of me helping Mommy carve the pumpkins because I didn't help her! I reached my hand in that sticky gooey pumpkin one time and said "ewwwwwww." That was enough pumpkin carving for me! Happy Halloween!

Puzzle Blanket

Tonight while I was putting together my puzzle, I started getting tired. I laid down on the floor and asked Mommy to cover me up . . . with my puzzle - HA!

Thank you MiMi and Uncle Philip and Piper for coming to help my Daddy!

Rainforest Cafe

We visited the Rainforest Cafe at OpryMills Mall.

I am not a fan.
I did not like the gorilla across from my table shaking the trees,

or the elephant trumpeting loudly,

or the indoor thunderstorms. Really, indoor thunderstorms! Mommy should know me better than that!

Fall Pictures

On the way out of Wal-Mart the other day, the photographer at the Picture Me Studio handed Mommy a coupon for 30 portraits for $7.99. Mommy thought, "$7.99, why not?" The Picture Me studio did an amazing job! Much better than Mommy expected! Needless to say, she spent more than $7.99! If you would like to see my proofs, click here. Then you will need to type in the session number in the blank it is - 102544.

Climbing

I'm not much of a climber, so maybe that's why Mommy laughed so hard when she walked down the hall and found this.

She says it's a lot funnier without the censor box, but you know Daddy ;)

Jackson Swing Orchestra

The Jackson Swing Orchestra came to town last week. Mommy and Papa and Nana took me to see them.

I love music!

Mommy: Allie, does that music make your feet dance?
Allie: No, makes me head dance!

Singing

Twinkle Twinkle

Baa Baa Black Sheep

Mommy's favorite part is the "bow-ee down the road."
Mommy caught me singing with her phone - sorry for the quality of the videos!
